  杜志平英国Leeds大学博士毕业,享受国家政府特贴专家。从事物理、胶体与界面化学方面的教学、科研生产工作30多年。原中国日用化学工业研究院表面活性剂山西省重点实验室主任, 2011年底作为引进人才进入山西大学。现任澳门新葡京网站教授、博导,山西大学化学化工学院应用化学专业博导,中国日用化学工业研究院表面活性剂山西省重点实验室首席专家。
  主要现在和在原单位主要进行矿物浮选工程中的胶体与界面化学问题研究、纳米材料的合成及光催化性能研究、新型有机硅表面活性剂的合成及其在溶液中的聚集性能研究、两亲聚合物合成及其应用性能研究、表面活性剂浓溶液相行为研究、两亲有序组合体在纳米材料的合成及表面改性方面的应用、洗涤剂配方和制备工艺及洗涤用品性能评价等研究工作。先后承担了十多项国家、省和企业的研究课题,确立了新型有机硅表面活性剂的合成及其在溶液中的聚集性能和表面活性剂浓溶液相行为的研究方向,围绕两亲有序组合体及其纳米材料的合成和日化领域的应用开展了大量工作。包括:国家自然科学基金项目“新型糖基有机硅Gemini表面活性剂在水溶液的自组装行为研究”、科技部科研院所技术开发项目“节水型高效结构液洗的生产技术”、山西省留学回国人员重点资助项目“节水型高效结构液洗”、山西省留学回国人员资助项目“大豆多肽食用胶冻的制备及应用研究”、山西省自然科学基金项目“表面活性剂离子选择性电极的研制与应用”、山西省重点实验室开放基金项目“丙烯酸系列梳型高分子表面活性剂结构与其物理化学性能关系研究”、山西省自然科学基金项目“钛硅介孔分子筛MCM-41的合成及光催化降解表面活性剂废水性能研究”、山西省科技攻关项目“纳米光催化材料在降解土壤表面有机污染物中的应用”、山西省国际合作项目“光催化纳米复合净化材料的制备及应用研究”。已完成的项目在审定和验收中均获得专家一致好评,并达到国内先进水平。高效结构液洗相关技术于2006年被山西省科学技术委员会评定为山西省科技进步二等奖,该产品获得山西省新产品奖。
  在国际国内高水平杂志上发表文章90多篇,其中近40多篇被SCI收录,并数次受邀参加国际学术会议并作报告和主持人,研究成果受到国内外同行的普遍关注。获得6项国家发明专利授权,还有7项专利已经申报正在审理流程中。作为科研带头人和博士生、硕士生导师,已培养博士毕业生2名,硕士生20名,目前在读博士生2名,硕士生5名。于2008年获得山西省首届“研究生教育优秀导师称号”、并获得山西省科协授予的2009年度山西省“科技奉献奖”先进个人一等奖等荣誉。
